Custom Biscuit Mix Formulation

Sweet Solutions recently partnered with a product development company in the food and beverage space to provide nutritional formulation and product improvements for a popular fast casual restaurant chain. Utilizing food science and Better for You ingredient supplier partners, Sweet Solutions produced samples at the in-house SQF development lab to prove operations at store level. It was critical to achieve the right taste and nutritional goals before scaling up.

Upon acceptance of the lab samples, Sweet Solutions scaled up the custom blend and packaging supply, meeting the customer's desired capacity. Three-pound stand-up pouches were utilized for product freshnesss, long shelf life, and ease of use at customer operations. The improved clean label formula incorporated plant-based ingredients and a reduction of sugar while not compromising taste or satisfaction.
